Obituary of Mary J. O'Connor

Peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on August 8th, 2010 in her 97th year. Survived by her daughters Helen and Elizabeth, grandaughters Barb (Dave) and Lisa (Eric), great grandaughters Amelia and Sage, and her sister, Sister Grace Devine. Predeceased by her husband Arthur and brothers Harry and Jack and Joseph. Mary was born in Pakenham, Ontario, and took nursing training at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. She nursed at the Arnprior Hospital, Haley's Station and the Renfrew Rehabilitation Centre. She was a CWL member for 60 years. She always had a positive attitude in spite of the fact that she lived with MS for 46 years. Her courage and strength will continue to be an inspiration to us. We will miss you more than words can say.
