Obituary of William Hodgins

Passed away peacefully February 15, 2013 at Renfrew Victoria Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was 85. One of 11 children, Bill was born in Copper Cliff, Ontario to Bill and Catherine (Mulvaney). After graduating from Copper Cliff High School, he apprenticed as a machinist and, like his father, he found work at INCO. He left the Sudbury area in 1982 and with his wife Maureen (McHale) he retired to Douglas, Ontario where he continued to putter in his own machine shop. Bill will be greatly missed by his wife Maureen and children Kelly Schofield (Dennis), Michael Hodgins (Lauri), Maureen Fortier (David) and Bill Hodgins (Diane). He was a proud grandfather of Kathleen and Karly Schofield, Jake, Matt and Ben Hodgins, and Jesse Fortier. He is survived by his sisters Kay Weber, Barbara Koritko and brother Jack Hodgins. He was predeceased by his brother Len Hodgins and sisters Mary Finlayson, Gertrude Hodgins, Gertrude Faught, Bernice Labarge, Frances Muraska and Joyce Huneault.
