Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Berger family. Earl held a special place in our hearts. We enjoyed our chats and stories of days gone by. We found comfort in our own hearts holding Earl's hand when he was sick, and having a good laugh and teasing him to no end. Someday when we meet again Earl, I am going to put you on one of our farm horses, and Peter is going to take you for a tour like he promised on the motorcycle. And I will still take your glasses away when it's time to go to sleep, and yell in your ear to say goodnight. I will never put on a pair of wool socks again without thinking fondly of you, and someday, I promise I will learn how to knit. Farewell my good friend, rest in peace. xoxo
