Dear Jimmy & Jayne, Fran & Bud, Suzie & Jim, Babe & Ron, Russ and I want to express our heartfelt condolences at the loss of your mother. Our thoughts are also with your beautiful families who lost their grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Even when we know the day will come, death always leaves us with grief, Allow yourself time to grieve and to heal. As for us: we are grateful to have so many memories of your mom - myself a little more than Russ. And Whittier wrote: "Grant but memory to us, and we shall lose nothing by death" We will remember her well. There will only ever be one Aunt Toots.

Comforting words are hard to come by at a time like this. But as you know my prayers and the lighting of a candle are for you Jim, Jane and your family. Knowing that there is no more suffering hopefully gives you some peace of mind. Try to stay strong and positive she would want that for you. I only met your Mom a few times........ at Baskin Beach and at the Beauty Salon in Arnprior. Always had a few laughs when we met at the Beauty Salon..... going back in time and comparing what we had to work with then and what we had now. .
