Obituary of Joey Gerard Peplinski

Peacefully after a very long battle with cancer our Beloved Joey passed away on Wednesday August 10, 2016 at the age of 60. Cherished companion of 40 years to John Steiniger. Beloved son of the late Agnes and John Peplinski. Dear brother of Theresa Bell, Lawrence (Diane), Bernie (Esther), Genevieve Lavallee, Jacqueline (Vital Altcheh), Patricia (Allan Ayoub). Dear brother in law of Catherine and Nancy. Predeceased by his brothers Benny, Michael and Martin. Joey will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews and his extended family in the United States and Germany. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Élisabeth Bruyère Centre for their compassion they provided to Joey. Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S, Renfrew on Sunday August 14th from 2-5 pm, and on Monday after 9:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church, Douglas on Monday August 15th at 11:00 am. Interment Parish Cemetery.
