Obituary of Brian Joseph Tracey

April 18, 1946 – February 15, 2017 Peacefully at Hospice Renfrew in the company of loved ones. Son of the late Ambrose and Lucy Tracey (nee Lamarche). Predeceased by sister, Doreen, in infancy and brother, Frank (2015). Much loved brother of Ronald (Elaine), Marlene (late Doug Green), and Gerald (Wanda), and sister-in-law, Linda (Frank), all of Eganville. Brian is also survived by special stepdaughter, Shelley Davidson of Ottawa, and 10 nephews and nieces. Brian will be missed by his many former colleagues in the automotive sales business and hundreds of happy customers in the Ottawa Valley. His life was devoted to selling vehicles and he will be remembered as one of the last few great salesmen in the car business. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in St. James the Less Roman Catholic Church, Eganville, on Saturday, February 18th at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow in the church hall. Donations to Hospice Renfrew would be greatly appreciated. The family wishes to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff and volunteers at Hospice Renfrew who provided such great compassionate care to Brian and his family.
