I am so sorry to hear of the passing of a man I'd known all my life. As a great friend of my parents, John and Frances Lambert, "Ex" was always around, or just down the road. He was definitely part of our family in many ways. He was an excellent carpenter with extraordinary talent. He had a deep love for his family and a great smile. Always the consummate gentleman he was very welcome in our home. God bless you Mr. Kunopaski, you lived a good life and deserve your Eternal Rest with Jesus. We were saddened to read of your Dad's passing.Both of us have many fond memories of conversations with him over the years at our home when he was doing renovations for us and visits with him on the streets of Renfrew.We go way back thru the years as he worked with my Dad for so many years.We will miss seeing him riding his motorized vehicle on the streets of Renfrew. To all the Kunopaski family: As a good neighbor and friend for 36 years, X was always there when we needed him, as a teacher and helper in major house renovations, tree cutting and logging at the cottage, assisting when the car broke down somewhere or got stuck in the snow. In later years he was always ready for a drive in the country or a game of cards in his little kitchen or a visit to the Chinese restaurant. We tried to give him a bit of company and help when he could not get out. We are thankful for the time we have known him and miss him very much. X, you are at peace now and your bad knees won't bother you anymore..
