My deepest sympathy over the loss of Sheila. In the valley we all seem to meet on occasion and with online chat rooms we can stay in touch all that much more. To chat with Sheila was to walk with her through her own loss and the joys of family and grandchildren. Sheila lived her life, regardless of what she had to endure. It is my hope that she has endeared these qualities in her children and grandchildren. She will rest in peace knowing that she was a great lady, who gave to her family and to her community, unconditionally. God bless you, one and all.

It is with extreme sadness I write of my pain in the passing of Sheila. We were neighbours in Renfrew and went through high school together. I knew of the passing of her husband this year and she had recently sent me a facebook photo of all the grand kids. What a sad situation. Me deepest regrets to a person who truly was a loving and caring person. Sheila visited my mother many times in the retirement home. Her visits lite up my mothers face. Well will never forget. Randy.

Sheila was a very special person who spread laughter and joy wherever she went. Our members enjoyed her participation in the horticultural society when she was a member. She pitched in and was an active volunteer wherever she was needed. I have the most hilarious picture of her dressed in green when our monthly meeting happened to fall on March 17th! When Bob was ill she wasn't able to come and we've missed her since she moved to Arnprior but understood her love and dedication to family. She stopped by our Plant Sale in May and it was so great to see her. This is such a tragedy and our hearts go out to her family who have suffered such a great loss.

Dear Family;
Please accept my sincere condolences in the tragic passing of your beloved Sheila.
As children growing up in the McLean & Allen Ave neighbourhoods we had a blast playing, kick the can, hide and seek and other fun times with our other neighborhood friends. Good friends with my sister Judy. Sheila grew up to be a wonderful friend to many, an awesome wife and mother to her children and loving grandmother. Always kind and wonderful to chat with whenever we met. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Cherish the fond memories you have made together with her.
May each of you sense the presence of Jesus Our Comforter in your time of sorrow. He loves you and is praying for each you. Rom.8:34

Deepest condolences to all the Welsh & Lyons Families. The love that Sheila held for her children and grandchildren held no limits. She was so proud of each and every one. I had the pleasure of getting to know Sheila only a few years ago, but, we became immediate best friends. She had a laugh that was contagious and indeed brightened any situation. We held a special bond as we shared and celebrated same year and month birthdays. She always said she was the wiser because she was 20 days older. I will miss opening my "almost" daily messages that always started with Hey Girlie.. As I write this I can see you sitting across the table from me as we looked at Florida pictures and laughed and joked about your upcoming trip. I will always remember that crazy little honk when you turned in the driveway and the big smile and hug. You were a true Friend!! Heaven received another Angel and Bobby welcomed you with open arms. I miss you and feel so priviledged to have had you as a Friend. Helen Hunter

I just saw her a few weeks ago at GT and from 6 aisle away I heard "HI ANNIE" in her sing song voice and I just knew it was her without even having to look. I'm so sad I will never hear her say that again. Some of my best childhood memories were made with your Mom. She will be missed by so many and will always be in my heart.

To the Lyons and Welsh families, may we send our Deepest Condolences on the loss of your dear Mother, Grandmother and Sister. Sheila was my life long friend who had a heart of gold and a smile and laugh that could light up a room. We all would meet twice a year when we flew up for lunch, always the same three, me Sheila and Jimmy Brown. Our poor spouses never got a word in because Sheila and I were champion talkers and it was always a joke who talked more. My heart is broken, as so many must be for this wonderful woman, this beautiful soul that made the world a better place is gone from us, but we have so many terrific memories and she's with her beloved Bob now. God bless them, God bless you all and I do wish we could be there, as she'd always been for me when I had a loss. I am looking at a little note she gave me three years ago after I'd lost my remaining parent, my Dad. I treasure it along with a pressed yellow rose from her that I keep in my Bible. The sadness will never leave but she will be remembered always with love and affection. We were all blessed to have known her. Rest in Peace my dear Sheila until we all meet again.
