Obituary of Lois Anne Airth
Peacefully in Renfrew Victoria Hospital at the age of 73 of metastatic breast cancer. Daughter of Dorothy and Claude Airth, sister to Tom. Proud descendent of Sergeant Henry Airth, the first permanent settler of what was to become Renfrew. Committed social activist, passionate environmentalist, devout Christian and accomplished baker and gardener. She was an active member of Trinity St. Andrews church, graduate of RCI and both a social worker and RN. Lois will be sadly missed by her many friends who enjoyed her sharp wit and intelligence.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity St. Andrews church on January 4 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Sunshine Coach or McDougall Mill Museum Airth collection.
