The Town of Renfrew has lost a dedicated Town Historian. Heritage Renfrew has lost a dedicated member, an executive, advisor and researcher of people, events and much more. We all have lost the access to the vast knowledge that Olga had on the Town of Renfrew and its people and events. Olga was not a public person and did her work in a quiet way and was always available to help if she could. Her family has lost much much more. Heritage Renfrew members send their sympathy and prayers to the family of Olga.

It is with sorrow that I learn of the passing of our treasured Renfrew Historian, Olga. She loved life, past and present and was a great asset to our community. Her passion for getting the whole story and making sure it was factual was always appreciated by this author. Her generous spirit will live on in my heart and mind. May I offer my most sincere sympathy to her family and friends. She will surely be missed by all who were fortunate to know her. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this time.
