I never got to meet Aunt Evelyn but my Gramma Shantz would tell her about me for years. I sent her a card with a picture of me to thank her for the wooden jewelry box that Grandpa Brooks made. I was told that she loved the card and she would look at my picture. Wish I could of met her.
We are saddened to hear the passing of a great woman.
Aunt Eb was one of the calm, balanced, down to earth persons that I have ever known. I believe all the Sullivan girls were like this.
We had made a few trips down to Bellevue area when we were young with Aunt Eb and I remember nothing but good times. Also remembering having good times at the lake in Barryvale when the Brooks gang would come out.

David and Stephen, please accept our condolences at the loss of your mother. She was a good woman, kind and considerate, with a good sense of humour. Honestly, I am at a loss for words - just sad that she's gone.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Ebby.
I have fond memories of her showing me how to knit when she was staying at the Barryvale Campsite.
To this day I can still make a mean dishcloth thanks to Aunt Ebby!
