Dear Mike,
I was searching for in formation on Larry at the request of a friend and came across the notice of Diane's death. I am so sorry. My first memory was a flash back to your wedding and then a visit David and I paid to Renfrew when you and Diane took us to a friends large Victorian house which was all lite up .Not bad memories. Of course time has separated us but friendships can sleep for a while and then wake up again. David died November 2018 so I know something about loss of a partner as well.
Please accept my heart felt condolences. If you wish to reach out...i am still in Kingston and our phone number is in the book ..

Dear Mike & family,
So sorry to hear of Dianne's passing. She was a kind and caring nurse that garnered the respect of her colleagues. I recall her plans for extensive RV travelling in retirement. May she be at peace in her final journey.

Dianne, you were one of the most caring, compassionate and selfless people I have ever met. You loved life and to the end fought to make the most of every minute of it.
As a nurse you not only cared for people but about them. I'll miss our golfing, our dinner parties and mostly our conversations. I will always treasure the memories we shared. I was truly blessed to have you as one of my closest dearest friends.

Mike –my sincere sympathy to You. Dianne was such a kind, caring –positive person even in the face of so many challenges. She lived life to the fullest and made the best of everyday –a lesson we all could learn from. She was a wonderful neighbour to have –always positive & wonderful to chat with as she made her way around the block for a walk. I have never forget how kind and caring she was to my Mom when she worked a RVH. Truly an Angel Nurse who made the Patients & families feel so at ease. She was a blessing to know ~ just an amazing classy lady!
May the wonderful life you Two had together bring a sense of joy to your heart & a smile to your face.

I met Dianne when we became neighbors and new to the KOA in Renfrew in 2010. We very quickly became close friends. Dianne was a very kind, caring lady and always looked on the bright side of any situation. She held true to this all through her illness and never gave up hope. Before she became ill we were chatting one day and she told me that if she became ill she would not have any regrets in the way she and Mike had lived their lives and would not change anything. She was so easy to be friends with and will be missed by many. Luv ya and miss ya.

I am so sad to hear this news but also glad that she is at peace and without pain or hot flashes. I worked many a night with this very hard working lady. She taught me to do the job right and wasn't afraid to scold me if I didn't! Dianne also took me golfing for the first time and even though I still can't golf worth a darn she was so patient and allowed me to tag along anyway. I will miss her. Safe journey Dianne.

Hi Mike ,
I am so sorry to hear of Di's death, such a fight you both fought with so many unknowns. From the tree planting days of the 80's to roaming the nite shift at the hospital on the weekends with Diane I am so proud to have known her. She was a powerful, loving woman, who never gave up. She loved her family, friends, pets, career and patients with much passion. Keep well Mike my thoughts are with you all.
