I met Richard while living at Bernice's house in Laurentian Hills (Wayyy too close to Tony's place). I am from the Maritimes, and went out to see him one evening, just to kill some time, and to talk Ham Radio with him. What a splendid visit I had. Instantly, the conversation became extremely technical. He gave me the grand tour of every wire, every antenna, every fitting, every cable, everything. His wife promptly disappeared for some unknown reason.
My eastern condolences go out to his family and his other bad attitude friends. Richard was a true gem. Without any hesitation I wish to bestow on him the title of "Maritimer" ... even though he was from Ontario. We'll forgive him for that.
