My Unc' Ken was always happy to be with family, he loved to eat and drink on occasion and would always be up for one more game of euchre. I’ll miss his good nature, his easy smile and his natural honesty. His love for his sisters and their families was only heightened by the time between visits.

I think of my Uncle Kenny in tandem with my Aunt Rita, his sister, and some on my fondest memories of my Mother, Charlotte, their sister, are of her smiling and laughing with them, being her most natural self as they were with her. Joyful, uncomplaining, generous and kind, ready to laugh, ready to eat, ready to play cards and ready to take pleasure in whatever made you smile, adult or child, family or stranger. Good people. We need more of them, not fewer, he will be missed. We would all do well to think of Kenny and humbly try just to be good people, as he was, naturally and without fuss, tending his garden.
Our condolences to his sister (my mom) Charlotte, and Kenny’s many friends. With love, Chad, Mark & Nick

Ever since I was younger I’d always visit him and he always treated me like I was one of his grandchildren. He use to take me on tractor rides and every time I’d visit I wanted to go see him and go for a tractor ride. He even came to watch me when I started to get into hockey at my tournaments that were in Renfrew. As I got older it turned into going to his favourite Chinese restaurant with the whole family which was always full of him cracking jokes. I loved all the memories I have had throughout my life with him. My condolences for all friends of Kenny and the rest of my family who all have amazing memories of him. Much love, Mathieu Barrette

Uncle Kenny was an amazing person who would do anything for anybody. We always looked forward to our trips to Renfrew to spend time with Uncle Kenny and his sister, our Aunt Rita. He will be missed but will forever be in our hearts. Love Neve and Mathieu.

I remember Uncle Kenny playing with us as little kids when we visited our grandparents, sharing stories and jokes when we visited as young adults, and enjoying extended meals together in later years - usually involving lots of shrimp and a couple of beers. He was great at making/growing things with his hands (a skill I admired and hope to have inherited to some small degree!), enjoyed teasing his sisters, and was always generous with the treats he shared during our visits. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humour who loved a good visit and a laugh. Our condolences to his sister (my mom) Charlotte, and Ken’s many friends. With love, Lisa Conway and Kiran Reil.

Got to know Ken through my sister Lil. The three of them spent a lot of time playing cards and driving around and going out for meals. Always enjoyed meeting him anytime and having a chat. My condolences to your families.
