Going through old photos recently, I came across this one of Stan in the summer of 1974, working for Dibblee Construction in their quarry just south of Ottawa. Stan was the foreman of a crew that included me, Dave and Leo among others. Stan was a good man to work for. I have good memories of that time.

Stan was wonderful man. I remember hunting with him, Johnny, Merle Church many years ago at the Church place. He always called me the young lad. Stan always had fun at whatever he done in life. I'll always remember Stan every time I get in my little black truck and go to the village. I have that little piece of him and thank you Stan I will cherish it.
Go with your wings Stan and Rest in Peace.

Deepest condolences to the Mulvihill clan for the loss of Stan. He alone and also together with your Mom was a pillar in the Calabogie community. I love the thought of a joint service at Hillcrest where they will continue “on” together. Blessings to you all.

STAN: What a wonderful guy! He will be forever missed. I can't count the number of times I fished with him many years ago, He was a Great outdoors man and he knew every lake from Perth to Calabogie to Pembroke. He had one name for them all, and that was "Lost Lake" or "Secret Lake"
I hope he remembers the time he and I fell through the ice at one of his "Lost/Secret" lakes down the Lanark Road. We had some good times and I will always remember him with a great admiration.
Another one of the real Calabogie's Greatest. Take care Stan we will miss you, Rest in Peace.
