Hi Sue and Family. We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Bill. What a shock. I have many good memories of earlier days when Bill used to visit my parents, in Verdun, and spend hours talking to them, while lying on our couch in the living room. Bill was always happy, smiling and very interesting to listen to. My parents had a very special place in their hearts for Bill. He had so much in common with Dad .They could talk for hours.
I remember your 25th. wedding anniversary party. We all had such a good time and I remember thinking what a nice couple you were. So Happy together. You were sole mates.
l also enjoyed reading about Bills accomplishments and the joys in his life. He seemed to really take advantage of every moment. That's wonderful.
Claude, I and family would like to send our sincere sympathies to you, Sue and your family.
These are very hard times but I hope all your wonderful memories you both have made together will help you through this sad time.

Renfrew has lost a very caring - community minded Citizen! Bill gave so freely of his time. Be it his dedication to the great community work of the Rotary Club, or coaching or officiating thousands of hockey games, or his devotion to the Town of Renfrew for 17 years as a Councillor& four years as Mayor! Bill has woven a part of himself into the fabric of our community in such a positive way. Thank you Susan, Bruce, Joyce, Robert & family - for sharing Bill with all of us. He will be so missed!

Susan and family,
It is with sadness that I learn today of Bill’s passing. It was always a pleasure to serve him in my barbershop and to serve along side him, as a member of Renfrew Town Council. He was a good sport and with his quick wit he had the ability to stay positive, during challenging times. His love of family and community was evident in all his actions, and he is sure to be missed by those who were fortunate to know him. You are in my prayers. God bless.

I was an member of Bill's GLN operating sessions for about 10 years. During that time, I came to know Bill as a friend and an avid model railroader. I always enjoyed the hospitality he and Sue gave the group, as well as the discussions and friendly banter we shared.
Bill will certainly be missed and long remembered.

Bill spent countless hours over the many years on the executive in many roles, a referee, timekeeper, manager and coach. He was a true gentleman who would do anything for the members of the association. His guidance and sportsmanship led to many players over the years developing skills not only on the ice but off the ice as they grew up into adults in the community.
