Dear David, Tim, Michael, Judy, and all your families - I wanted to say I am sorry to hear about your loss. Carol had a big heart and presence and I have fond memories from way back at Rhoddy's Bay and I was saddened to hear about her passing. I will be thinking about her when I play any Beatles from now on.

We are so sad to hear of Carol’s sudden passing. I think of the gatherings of our cousins, aunts and uncles and instantly see her smiling face and her quiet, supportive presence with family. I doubt there was ever any question that for her whole life Carol’s heart was firmly devoted to her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. What a wonderful legacy, and a life of love.
My heart is heavy thinking of you all - Tim, Michael, Judy, David, and your families. I pray your memories of happy times with Carol help ease the pain of losing your much loved sister.
Sincerely,
Peggy Grace, Andrew, Megan and Brian Howarth

I was very saddened to hear the sad news of Carol. We knew each other from a very early age as neighbours on Airth Blvd. The memories of our childhood are very dear to me. It was a rather golden time, with fun times as our families were very close. I recently had a chat with Carol… reminiscing and getting caught up a bit. I send all my best to your family.

We were stunned and so very sad to hear of Carol's passing. I will always remember she and I making faces at each other across the room, in school, and both of us getting in trouble with the teacher because we were giggling so much! We will also remember seeing Carol's nieces and nephews running down the beach, at the Bay, with Carol following as she trudged down the sand with all of their toys, towels, floaties etc. She was usually carrying so much you couldn't even see her! We will miss her genuine smile, her infectious giggle and her warm and caring heart.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to Tim, Michael, David, Judy and your families ( especially Sarah, who seemed to be attached to Carol's hip when she was younger and was a wonderful friend to her when she was older). You are in our thoughts and prayers and our hearts go out to you. Much love and big hugs to all.

I am so sorry to hear of Carol's passing. Unfortunately, I cannot be there to attend her funeral. But I do have fond memories of her.
I remember the times that Carol and I played dolls up in the small tree beside the your family cottage. We were doctor's wives, taking care of our babies. And who were those doctors? Why, none other than Dr. Kildare and Dr. Casey. We would take turns at being Mrs. Kildare or Mrs. Ben Casey!
Those were such wonderful times at the cottage, surrounded by our extended family! It should have been called Freemark Haven, or Heaven for that matter.
I will be thinking of you at this sad time.

We are shocked and saddened to hear of Carol's passing. We have many good memories of Carol at the Bay, visiting her at Aikenheads drug store and at family gatherings. She had such an infectious laugh and we always saw her with a smile and leading her nieces and nephews down to the beach to give their parents a brief rest and lovingly playing with them. Sending sympathies to all the family. She will be missed for sure.

I remember our summer days at Rhoddy's Bay as being full of happy memories. Catching bullfrogs and putting them in a large washtub and making them talk in a southern belle accent. Yakking at the beach or late at night on the road outside your cottage. You loved going to the theatre and we watched many a movie over the years. I will miss you Carol as will your family. Send strength their way.

So sorry to hear of Carol's passing. Sincere condolences to all of her family. I went to elementary and high school with Carol and shared her love of the Beatles. In later years, I often met her out shopping with her Mom and we would stop for a chat. She was such a quiet, gentle person. RIP Carol.
