My biological father passed away when I was 14 years old in 1977. My mom, Kay, met Dusty in 1978. They were married in 1979. I and my younger brother Darcy were at the wedding. Dusty was a father to me and a most thoughtful husband to my late mother. They had a fantastic life together. He was also a wonderful grandpa to my sons Josh and Zac, taking them fishing and boating when they spent a week or two with Grandma and Grandpa each summer.
Ninety-six years is a long and wonderful life. Rest in peace. You well deserve that rest!
