Obituary of Ray Kane

Ray passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Groves Park Lodge, Renfrew on Sunday July 22, 2018 at the age of 84.  Beloved son of the late Oswald Kane and Mary Kane Houwen (nee Gregg).  Ray is survived by his sister Verna (the late Laurier Gilbert), and his brothers Leonard (Carollee) and Ben (late Jeannine). Predeceased by his brother Eamon (the late Theresa). Ray will be greatly missed by Kirby Morrison, his many nieces, nephews and his dear friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Groves Park Lodge, Dr. Pinard and Dr. Grimes for the wonderful care given to Ray in his last few years of life.  We are very appreciative.

Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S,Renfrew on Wednesday July 25th from 7-9 pm and after 9:30 am Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Renfrew on Thursday July 26th at 11:00 am. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.  Donations in Ray's memory may be made to  Our Lady of Fatima Church Building Fund, Groves Park Lodge Auxiliary or 1st Renfrew Scouting Group Committee.  Online condolences/donations may be made at www.gouletfuneralhome.com
